Request a Smoke and CO Alarm

Enbridge Gas Inc., the Fire Marshal’s Public Fire Safety Council, and Middlesex Centre Fire Services are working together to improve home safety and eliminate fire and carbon monoxide-related deaths.

This year, Middlesex Centre Fire Services received 210 combination smoke and carbon monoxide alarms through Enbridge's Safe Community Project Zero. This initiative promotes the installation of smoke and carbon monoxide alarms in homes across Ontario communities where Enbridge operates.

Please read and acknowledge the below statement:

  • The alarms we provide are battery‑powered and are not designed to replace alarms that are wired into your home’s electrical system.
  • Hardwired alarms are often interconnected—when one alarm sounds, all alarms sound. Because of this design, hardwired alarms must be replaced with hardwired units.
  • We recommend contacting a licensed electrician to ensure that any hardwired alarm is replaced and installed correctly for your family’s safety.
