Fall is here, and that means a few seasonal changes are coming to Middlesex Centre’s parks and recreation amenities. Here are some key dates to keep in mind:
- Outdoor washrooms: Closing October 13
- Soccer fields and baseball diamonds: Closing October 16
- Pickleball and tennis nets: Will be removed by October 30
Why do sports fields close before winter?
Just like we need a little recovery time after a busy season, our sports fields do too. Closing fields helps protect the turf, allows time for maintenance and helps ensure they’re ready for another great season in 2027.
