Middlesex Centre, Ontario, July 9, 2026 - The village of Ilderton will mark its 150th anniversary this weekend, July 10 to 12, with a special celebration of community, history, and local pride.

Established as a village in 1876, Ilderton has deep agricultural roots and a long tradition of volunteerism and community involvement. The anniversary weekend will recognize that history while highlighting the people and organizations that continue to shape the community today.

The celebration begins Friday, July 10, with an all-ages country concert featuring Genevieve Fisher, Max Smith and two-time CCMA Male Artist of the Year Jade Eagleson.

Activities continue throughout the weekend, with a Saturday morning parade and opening ceremonies kicking off two full days of family-friendly entertainment. Visitors can explore historical exhibits, community displays, an antique car and tractor show, artisan and food vendors, a Kids Zone, trivia, bingo and tractor pulls. Special events include a movie night on Saturday, plus a pancake breakfast, hot air balloon rides and open mic performances on Sunday. Many activities are offered free of charge thanks to the support of local sponsors.

The celebrations are being organized by the Ilderton 150 Committee in partnership with the Ilderton Agricultural Society, the Tri-County Heritage Club, and numerous community volunteers.

A full schedule of events is available on the Ilderton 150 Facebook page.
