Members of Council and staff wore pink in support of Pink Shirt Day, an initiative to raise awareness about bullying and to promote kindness and inclusivity in the community.
Council Business
During the meeting, Council:
- Sitting at the public meeting, approved two zoning by-law amendment applications.
- Received an amended 2025 Treasurer Statement for the Cash in Lieu Parkland Reserve Fund.
- Received the budget to actual report for January 2026.
- Awarded the Load & Haul of Granular ‘A’ tender to Johnston Bros. (Bothwell) Ltd. in the estimated amount of $218,416 (including the Municipal portion of HST).
- Supported Association of Ontario Road Supervisors (AORS) motion for a Provincial call to action regarding protection for municipal public works workers and contractors.
