The Municipality of Middlesex Centre has received a request for an exemption under the Noise Control By-law (2016-006) for events to be held at the Ilderton Fairgrounds, located at 195 King St, Ilderton, ON, N0M 2A0, on July 10 and 11, 2026.
The events are related to the celebrations planned for Ilderton’s 150th Anniversary. The exemption request is to allow for amplified noise to continue past 11:00p.m. to accommodate a concert on July 10 and a tractor pull on July 11. In both cases, the events will conclude by 12:00a.m. (midnight), however clearing guests from the grounds and tearing down the stage may lead to more noise overnight than is typical for the area.
Comments or concerns about this exemption should submit in writing (email or letter) to Middlesex Centre Building and By-law Services before April 30, 2026.
