Update June 20, 2025
With hot temperatures in the forecast, the Middlesex-London Health Unit has issued an Extreme Heat Warning for London and Middlesex County beginning on June 22 to the evening of June 25.
If you are looking for a place to cool down:
- Feel free to drop-in at the Komoka Wellness Centre at 1 Tunks Lane during operating hours (6 am to 12 am (midnight)). You are welcome to use the open space in the lobby or to visit the Komoka Library Branch, located at the Wellness Centre. Please visit the library’s website for their hours.
- Other Middlesex Centre Library branches are also a good place to visit if you need a break from the heat. See the library website for locations and hours of operation.
- Also, splash pads in Ilderton, Kilworth and at the Komoka Wellness Centre are open 10am to 8pm and offer a fun way to cool down.
