Poplar Hill Park

Poplar Hill Park is used largely by residents for picnics and various gatherings such as the Poplar Hill Picnic. The park features a grandstand in addition to a playground, two lit ball diamonds, a grandstand, monument, historic log house, wheelchair accessible swing, and washroom facilities.

Wheelchair Accessible Swing

Poplar Hill Park's wheelchair accessible swing has an innovative design that allows users to enjoy the swing without leaving their wheelchair, making play more inclusive for everyone in our community. 

The Poplar Hill & District Lions championed the addition of a wheelchair accessible swing, and with the community raising more than $80,000 to support the cost of installation.
