Interested in joining Middlesex Centre’s paid on-call (“volunteer”) firefighters?
Learn what it takes to become a firefighter at a recruitment open house at Coldstream Fire Station on April 9, 2026, from 7:00 to 9:00pm.
You’ll learn firsthand from firefighters about:
- the commitment expected from firefighters
- the professional training we offer
- the compensation firefighters receive
- the opportunities for promotion and continuing education
The open house will include an informal presentation and a tour the station, as well as the opportunity to speak candidly with firefighters about what it means to be a member of the Middlesex Centre Fire Services (MCFS).
While anyone interested in MCFS is welcome to attend, please note that we are currently only recruiting for the Bryanston and Delaware Stations. However, we are maintaining reserve lists for all stations for a period of two years. More information on how to apply will be available at the open house and will be posted to the career portal later this spring.
