On October 9, 2025, at 10 a,m., Steve Pinsonneault, MPP for Lambton-Kent-Middlesex will be in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre to officially open the recently updated Komoka Community Centre.
Thanks to Ontario government grants funded through the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF), the space now features new universal washroom, sport-friendly flooring, and volleyball and basketball equipment. These improvements make the centre more inclusive, accessible, and ready for active community use.
MPP Pinsonneault will attend the event to acknowledge the government grant and its impact on the community. Aina DeViet, Mayor of Middlesex Centre, will discuss the importance of the grant for the Komoka Community Centre and all those who uses the space.
