Update: June 12, 2026
The closure of Komoka Community Centre parking lot has been extended until Wednesday June 17, 2026, to ensure the new asphalt cures properly.
About the Project
The Komoka Community Centre parking lot will be temporarily closed for repaving from June 8 to 12, 2026. Dates are subject to change due to weather.
During this time, we’ll updating the entire asphalt parking lot around the building (outlined in red with hashmarks in the map below).
There will be no access to the parking lot during the day or in the evenings.
Alternative Parking During Closure
The gravel lot by the water pumping station will remain open for use (outlined in yellow in the map below). When parking, please make sure not to block other vehicles.
You can also use nearby street parking in designated areas. Please follow all posted signage, as “No Parking” zones will be enforced.
Funding
Funding for this project is coming from the Middlesex Centre Buildings & Facilities (Asset Management) Reserve Fund. The budgeted project cost is $185,000.
