Mayor DeViet opened the meeting by acknowledging the many special recognition events in June. This month, we celebrate National Indigenous History Month, Seniors Month, Pride Month, National Accessibility Week, Parks and Recreation Month, and Local Food Week, among others. Each of these observances speaks to our vision of Middlesex Centre as a thriving, progressive, and welcoming community that honours our rural roots and embraces our natural spaces.

Presentations

Warden Sue Clarke and Middlesex County CAO Paul Shipway presented an update on Middlesex County’s recent activities, including organizational changes, strategic plan developments, shared County and municipal services and collaboration efforts, and the construction of the new County Governance & Administration Centre, which is scheduled to open this fall.
