Canada Post Strike – Middlesex Centre Bills and Notices

Canada Post postal workers have launched a nation-wide strike as of September 25, 2025. This will delay the delivery of mail to and from Middlesex Centre. 
 

Water, Tax and other Bills and Payment

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING YOUR BILLS ON TIME, EVEN IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE YOUR BILLS IN THE MAIL.

  • If you need your balance owing, call or email Middlesex Centre Customer Service. If you call in and get sent to voicemail, please leave a message with your name, phone number and street address so that staff may return your call. You can also request your water (utility bill) balance via our online form:

  • Mail delivery will be delayed, so please use other payment options such as:
    • through your bank or financial institution.
    • the drop-box at the front entrance of the municipal office. Do not put cash in the drop box.
    • in-person at the municipal office during business hours.
  • Upcoming Bill Due Dates:
    • Water bills are due on the last business day of the month.
    • The final property tax instalment is due November 28.
    • Other bill dates vary - please contact the office if you have questions.

Planning Notices

  • During a strike, planning notices will continue to be posted online and a physical sign posted on the property. If you have any questions please contact Planning Services. Please be sure to check the website regularly to see if new applications have been posted, and reach out to the planning department if you’d like to be notified of updates on specific planning applications.
