At the December 17, 2025, council meeting, The Mayor's 2026 Middlesex Centre Municipal Budget was deemed adopted.

  • The 2025 budget totals $76.54 million - $54.67 million for operating expenses and $21.87 million for capital (infrastructure) projects.
  • The resulting municipal tax rate increase is 5.71%, or $159 per year for an average residential home with an assessed value of $400,000.

The budget supports Middlesex Centre’s long-term financial sustainability. It responds to external financial pressures, addresses concerns raised in the budget survey, and focuses on needed infrastructure construction and repair.
